
I am a louth-based counsellor with over a decade of knowledge and experience.
The method of counselling I practice is eclectic although my training is in the person–centred model; I like to view individuals as the unique and valued people they are. Therefore, I adapt the therapy for my clients personal requirements and this may include (CBT) cognitive behaviour therapy.
Some of the benifits of counselling are to help individuals to understand why the emotions they are experiencing, which can be intolerable at times, have such a detrimental effect to their life and well-being.
Counselling helps to be able to gain a clearer perspective and a deeper understanding of issues and problems effecting an individual within a safe and non-judgemental environment. Clients can discover a new awareness which they benefit from immensely.
