About
My background for many years was in retail personnel until I decided to have a vocational change and this took me into counselling.
I have always enjoyed working with people and interested in what makes them tick!
I am a volunteer and supervisor with a national bereavement charity (Cruse Bereavement Care) and have worked with them for many years.
I have a real passion and commitment to my clients, and have found counselling to be a very fulfilling and rewarding profession.
My professional membership is with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work to their code of ethics.
Some of the areas of counselling I work with are:
- Fears/ Phobias
- Childhood Abuse
- Bereavement/loss
- Stress management
- Panic attacks
- Depression
- Self- esteem
- Anger management
- Addictions
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder)
- Personal development
- Cancer
- Assertiveness
- Relationships
- Domestic Violence
- Self- harm
- Sexual Abuse
